Moving from Patreon to Folloverse

Rebuild your creator page and tiers, choose your billing model, prepare payouts, and help members join you on Folloverse.

To move to Folloverse, create your page and membership tiers, upload the work you want to share, and invite your members to subscribe on the new page.

The app currently has no automated Patreon import or checkout flow that transfers Patreon memberships or saved payment details. Members join Folloverse and complete checkout themselves.

Check availability first

Check Where Folloverse is available, including the separate creator payout list. Review what you can publish before bringing your catalogue across.

Set up in this order

  1. Create your account, verify your email when prompted and choose a creator profile. Your username forms your page address. If you already have a fan profile, use Become a creator.

  2. Open your page and select Customize to add your display name, bio and links. Use Settings → About section for a longer introduction.

  3. Complete Settings → Verification. Identity verification is required before creating membership tiers.

  4. Choose your billing model in Settings → Monetization.

  5. Open Tiers and create the membership offers you want to sell.

  6. Complete Settings → Payouts, including the creator agreement and any business verification.

  7. Upload a selection of your work through Studio, check how it is priced and who can access it, then share your page.

Copy your own text and upload your media manually. You do not have to move your entire archive before inviting members.

Choose your billing model

Standard is monthly billing. Fans pay a fixed recurring price; tiers can be $1 to $30 per month.

Per creation lets you charge eligible members when you publish a post with Charge this post enabled. Tiers can be $1 to $15 per creation. Each fan chooses a cap of 1 to 10 posts per calendar month at checkout.

Per-creation charges build up during the month and are normally billed on the 1st of the following month. You also choose whether joining costs one creation's price or has nothing due upfront. The joining charge is separate from the post cap.

The app offers this choice before tier creation and does not provide a settings control to switch it afterward. Choose carefully before creating your tiers. See Understanding Subscription Billing Options.

Recheck access when rebuilding posts

A post restricted to selected membership tiers does not automatically charge per-creation members.

A post with Charge this post enabled cannot also be restricted to selected tiers. It is available to all active members of that creator, including members who have reached their cap. Public access and one-time purchases are separate settings.

The charge toggle is disabled until you have active per-creation members. For your initial archive, choose public access, selected-tier access or a one-time purchase as appropriate.

Fees and withdrawals

Folloverse's platform fee is 6%, with a 0% platform-fee period for a new creator's first three months from their first recorded payment. Payment processing fees are separate.

You do not connect a Stripe account. Set up payouts with Folloverse and request your available earnings from $20. New payments have a holding period of at least 10 days. How you get paid covers fees, verification and payout timing.

Bring your members across

Give members a direct link to your Folloverse page and explain what they receive, which billing model you chose, and whether a joining charge applies.

If you keep both platforms open during a transition, explain how members can stop their old membership when ready. Joining Folloverse does not cancel Patreon. An overlap can create charges on both platforms, so avoid promising a free or automatic transfer.

A clear move date and a pinned announcement can help members find the new page. These are suggestions for organizing your move; Folloverse does not automatically message or migrate your Patreon audience.

For Patreon's current transition dates and options, use Patreon's own migration guide.

If you need help with Folloverse setup, use Help in the app and describe where you are stuck.
