Folloverse has two membership billing models: a fixed monthly payment, or a charge for each post the creator chooses to bill. Check the tier and checkout summary before subscribing. Prices in this guide are in US dollars.
You pay the tier price when you subscribe, then renew monthly. For example, a membership started on January 25 normally renews on February 25, then March 25. Check your renewal date in Subscriptions.
Creators choose monthly tier prices from $1 to $30. Publishing another post does not add a per-post charge to a monthly membership.
Membership access depends on the tiers selected for each post. A membership does not automatically include every post or separate purchase on a creator's page.
Creators choose tier prices from $1 to $15 per creation. A post adds a charge only when the creator publishes it with Charge this post enabled. Restricting a post to members does not, by itself, add a charge.
Eligible members are charged their own tier price, up to their monthly post limit. Charges build up during the month and are normally collected in one bill per creator on the 1st of the next month. Billing uses calendar months in UTC. Failed or delayed bills can be retried later.
There is no recurring monthly membership fee. If no posts are charged during a month, there is no new post bill for that month. A joining charge or an older unpaid bill can still be due.
A per-creation tier can charge one creation's price when you join, or let you join with nothing due upfront. Both options collect a payment method for later post bills. Checkout shows the amount due today.
The joining charge is separate from the monthly post limit. It does not count as one of that month's posts. If you cancel and join again, check checkout again: a tier with a joining charge can charge it on the new signup.
At checkout, choose a limit of 1 to 10 paid posts per month; the default is 2. The limit resets on the 1st in UTC, even if you joined partway through the previous month.
For an unchanged tier price, your maximum new post charges for a month are the post limit multiplied by the price per post. The joining charge is additional.
For example:
You join a $5-per-creation tier on February 4 and choose a limit of 2.
If that tier has a joining charge, you pay $5 at checkout.
Three charged posts are published during February. The first two add $5 each to your bill; the third adds nothing.
Your February post bill is $10, normally collected on March 1. Including the joining charge, this example costs $15.
Reaching your cap does not remove membership access. Posts skipped because you reached the cap are not carried forward as charges for a later month.
A post that charges per-creation members is available to all active members of that creator, including members who have reached their cap. It cannot also be restricted to selected tiers.
A charged post can be public. The creator can also add Pay to Access so non-members can purchase it separately. Other posts may be restricted to selected tiers without charging per-creation members.
Folloverse sends a charge notification when a post is added to your bill. You can also inspect this month's counted posts and amounts in Subscriptions, and paid or payable invoices in Billing history.
On the creator's membership page, another tier can offer Upgrade or Downgrade. You have one membership per creator.
For per-creation memberships, changing tiers changes the price of future charged posts. Charges already recorded keep their original prices. This means a month containing a tier change can include posts at different prices.
For monthly memberships, review the change confirmation. An upgrade calculates a prorated adjustment for the remaining billing period; the renewal date stays the same. A downgrade does not create a prorated credit.
Cancel from Subscriptions. Monthly memberships keep access until the end of the paid period and stop renewing.
Per-creation membership access ends when you cancel. Any outstanding post charges are submitted for final billing, and failed collection can be retried. Cancelling does not erase an existing unpaid invoice. Public posts and posts you purchased separately have their own access rules.

Choose Standard for monthly billing or Per creation in Settings → Monetization before creating tiers. For per-creation billing, also choose whether joining carries a charge.
The settings page does not offer a switch after you confirm. Choose based on what you plan to deliver and explain the billing model in your tier description.
